About Brendon
I was born into a first-generation Christian home in Hilo, Hawaii. My mother was a Buddhist, and my father came from a deistic family before they both accepted Christ as their Savior in their adult years. In a Christian school, I heard the Gospel and teaching from the Bible regularly growing up, yet I did not respond. At age 11, I realized that I needed to be rescued from my sins, so I put my faith and trust in Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Savior.
About Elise
Elise grew up in Michigan and accepted Christ at the age of 16. She surrendered and dedicated her life to the Lord to serve Him wherever He would have her. We got married on July 11, 2015, and are excited about serving the Lord together!
Call to Ministry
As I read my Bible, went to church and Christian camps, preached in chapels, held weekly Bible studies in high school, God began to work in my heart. I could not imagine myself doing anything other than preaching and living my life serving the Lord full-time. I went to Bible college and then helped to start a church in North Africa among the Muslims. My wife and I got married and went back to North Africa. While we were starting a church, the government kicked us out of the country. We went to another country in North Africa to learn a new language and continued working in church planting. While back on furlough, the Lord began to burden my heart because the USA is only 1 of nearly 200 countries in the world; and less than 1% of American Christians are reaching about 96% of the world! There are enough Christians to evangelize the world in our generation... Where then are the men and women who will take the good news of Jesus Christ to ends of the earth where untold millions have never heard the Gospel once?!
