Welcome, Zane Bloom!
We are excited to welcome Zane Bloom to the leadership team at Biblical Ministries Worldwide as our Chief Mobilization Officer.
Background
Zane Bloom grew up in a Catholic family in suburban Pittsburgh, PA. He found saving Faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 28. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Gannon University, a Master’s degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Managerial and Leadership Communication from the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and a Masters degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University.
Upon graduation from college, Zane was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army, Field Artillery. He served at Fort Sill, OK, Camp Hovey, Republic of Korea, and Fort Bragg, NC. He was Honorably Discharged at the rank of Captain, having earned several awards including the Army Commendation Medal and Parachutist Badge. Upon entering the civilian world, Zane began a career in sales. For over 20 years, he served in various roles in several well-known and Fortune 500 companies.
Presently, Zane owns a veteran-owned small business, Zeca Enterprises, LLC, that sells commercial office furniture and ancillary items on behalf of several manufacturers. He also volunteers with the North Carolina Christian School Association athletics department assisting with play-by-play of their championship games, and with their social media.
Call to BMW
In 2012, Zane began to become unsettled with the progression of his secular career and began praying, “Lord, use me for eternal purposes,” and a clear, unexpected answer came in the calling of him and his wife into missions.
Zane and his wife Karie joined BMW in 2015 as appointees, determined to reach South Africa with the Gospel. In 2017, Grace Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC ordained Zane into Gospel ministry. However, several medical considerations within their immediate family over deputation led them away from opportunities overseas. Through these circumstances, the Lord led them to the administrative position within BMW. Their son Zane Wesley (20) is a sophomore at Liberty University and they have two daughters, Emily (13) and Ali (11), and another son, Charley (4) at home.
