Dan & Amy Portugal

After meeting at the Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music, Amy and I married in May of 1990. Following a time of service and preparation in various outreach ministries, we and our three beautiful children reached Spain in February of 2007. In 2010 God opened the doors for us to begin a church plant in Sant Quirze del Vallès, a northeast town in Catalonia, Spain.

Since then, God has added new souls to the church, and we have had the joy of discipling young and older believers. The church has become an international blend of half a dozen nationalities representing this unique Body of Christ. Our focus is to disciple these believers with the goal of one day seeing the church established with local leadership. We are actively involved in reaching the lost, preaching, teaching, working with the youth, leading Bible studies, and shepherding this beautiful church.
