Jake & Elizabeth Delich

From an orphanage in South Korea to a Christian family in Minnesota is where Jake’s story began.  And God’s sovereignty and grace have been on display each step of the way moving forward as He has led Jake and his family to serve the Lord through worldwide missions…..   Jake met Elizabeth at Northland Baptist Bible College, and it was there that they committed to together serve the Lord fulltime.   After serving for a short time in the US as an assistant pastor, and other local jobs, God gave them a burden to move their family to Sweden and serve as missionaries with Biblical Ministries Worldwide.   They saw God work in mighty ways with souls saved and a house church started, but ultimately due to updated visa laws, they were told by the government that they had to leave Sweden after 10 years of ministry.   Though it was not easy to process what God’s will could be in closing this chapter of their lives, God did give grace and strength to regroup, and prayerfully consider starting over again in Puerto Rico.  And after helping in a Spanish church for a time, and supporting many through the devastation of Hurricane Maria, the Lord opened the door wide in 2019 for the start of a new church plant, Hope Bible Church, in northeast Puerto Rico Through evangelism and solid Bible teaching, the Deliches are seeking to help people come to see their need of a personal relationship with Christ instead of just being religious, and to grow in their spiritual walk for the glory of God.
