I am passionate about seeing God work in the lives of people all over the world through believers partnering in everyday work. There's nothing that gives me a greater sense of belonging than to sit in a room full of mission-minded believers and pour into the lives of young girls. At the age of eight, I became a follower of Jesus as God's son, in his death, burial, and resurrection, for the sake of my sins. At the age of 12, I began to wonder if God would take me into ministry one day. As soon as I had the opportunity, I began going on mission trips whenever I could and started serving in my local church. God continued to grow my love for the nations and the missionaries who were already on the field. In 2021 I expressed the call to career missions, and have been patiently waiting for God's timing for the expression of that call. I have a heart specifically for the encouragement of families on the field and the growth of their ministries.
My goal in coming on staff at Biblical Ministries Worldwide is to get my start in full-time career missions. I will advocate for summer Interns, join the marketing team in creating online spaces, and help missionaries feel refreshed as they stay on campus. This opportunity provides a unique learning experience as I seek God's call in my life through missions. My summers will be busy in preparation for various trainings and missionaries coming in on furlough. I will also attend a mission conference hosted in another country to manage their youth and kids programs. It all starts with ordinary people, simple tasks, and open hands. The mission starts with us.
